As a photographer, that looks like making sure you see yourself the way the world sees you...beautiful, joyful, and confident.
I started my photography career at a young age and over the years I have wholeheartedly pursued creating a client experience that reflects the love and excitement I have for both beautiful images and the people in them.

Every year I choose a word to set the intention for my year. I’m very goal oriented but having a word that is simple and speaks to all of the things I want to do or achieve in the year helps keep me on track. Plus I love seeing how it shows up throughout big and small moments throughout the year.

Also known as Dune Bug, Duney Boy, Duney Looney...you know. He’s my sweet Australian labradoodle pup who keeps my life full of love and fun.
He has been shooting weddings with me since the very beginning! If you’ve met him, you love him. I couldn’t ask for a better partner in crime. Follow his Instagram on wedding days for when he plays “find Dakota in the crowd at receptions”, ha!
He is often my second shooter at weddings and he helps with a lot of things on the backend. I am so thankful that my younger brother chooses to spend his time (especially his weekends) helping me!
