Bridal portraits are one of my favorite things about photographing weddings. It’s a chance to spend time with the bride, let her try out her hair and make up, have mom see her in all of her beauty before the day of, and really soak in the experience she’s about to have marrying the love of her life.
For my 2018 bride, Nikki, we met at her soon-to-be wedding venue, Cedar Grove Acres in Creedmoor, NC, to photograph her bridal portraits. Her life-long friend and makeup and hair goddess, Aiko McLaughlin, prepped her for our session and Nikki looked absolutely stunning.
We walked around the venue as she described her vision for the day and even were able to use details she would decorate with on the wedding day. My favorite spots were the bright red door that complimented her fall colors and the big open fields. It was a hot evening but she was a true trooper, like only a North Carolina summer bride can be!
I am so happy I am able to share these portraits with you now that she is Mrs. Gray and I can’t wait to share her wedding day with you!
