Allison and Hubie are the definition of a power couple! They are both medical residents, self-proclaimed “nerds about medicine”, and love Chapel Hill. While Hubie is more active, loving things like hiking and skiing, and Allison loves lounging by the pool, they both fell in love and have figured out the perfect balance. Allison says she helps him relax a little more and Hubie encourages her to push herself and have more adventures!

They will be getting married in downtown Wilmington and having their reception at the Carolina Yacht Club on Wrightsville Beach, NC – where Hubie’s family has a long history of spending days by the water. I cannot wait to see all that Sarah Ann Events (their wedding planner) puts together for them!

For their engagements photos, we chose to go to Wrightsville Beach, starting at the Harbour Island gardens. I love the rose garden and the way the light glows through the plants! From there we headed to the south end of WB where we took photos in the sea grass and along the ocean. This is one of my favorite romantic locations!

We’ll see these two again in October for their gorgeous coastal fall wedding!!
