Introducing for the first time, Kyle and Katie Boyette!!!! This summer wedding was beautiful and fun, despite the obstacles 2020 has brought.
I knew when I hung out with Katie and Kyle during what was supposed to be their engagement session (it down-poured on us relentlessly so we opted for rescheduling and drinks on the water instead!) that their big day was going to be a ton of fun. When I arrived to the venue, Katie’s bridesmaids were blasting early 2000s hiphop and I knew I had found my girls!
Katie and Kyle were married at their home church in Zebulon, NC where they are actually building a house right across the street next to Kyle’s parents! Their lives are so centered around family and their wedding day was no different.
By far my favorite part of the day was watching Kyle see Katie for the first time. No matter how many weddings I photograph, there is just something about the moment when the doors swing open and the bride makes her grand entrance –– and her groom’s eyes well up with tears. I had to make sure to keep it together so I didn’t miss any shots!
I’m so excited for them to continue on their journey…one that started out pretty crazy with planning a wedding AND building a new house at the same time!!! I think they’ve already proven they can get through anything!
Here are just a few of my favorites from the day!! Congratulations again, Kyle and Katie!!!
A huge thank you to the vendors who made this day beautiful!!!
