It must be a Jones’ girl thing to try out new spots in Wilmington!! Last year at this time I was photographing Kalli’s older sister Haley’s senior photos in Wilmington. I had seen a neighborhood on the way to the gym that was gorgeous and she was the first I brought there!

I’m so thankful this family trusts me to create beautiful images in the most random locations!

For Kalli’s session, she knew she wanted to start out at the One Tree Hill bridge in downtown Wilmington, NC. I had never photographed anyone there so I was going in a little blind to how the light was going to work but it turned out so BEAUTIFUL!

It helps that the bridge is white with lots of greenery because we all know how much I love clean neutrals with pops of color 😉

We ventured down through some of my favorite spots on 4th Street, finding areas with pretty colors and flowers.

I don’t normally like cap and gown photos but Kalli’s may be some of my favorites!!! She looks so grown!!!

I’ve never used this purple building either!!! At first I thought it would be too dark but with the backlighting and the light green from the plants it actually turned out such a pretty color!

Aren’t these gorgeous?!?! I love that the building and flowers are like her school colors!

You know I had to take Kalli to my favorite parking deck in Wilmington. The sunlight is PERFECT and we had the perfect amount of Beyonce wind!
