This blog post was SO hard to put together and warning…it’s LONG. Not only does Neuse Breeze Wedding Venue always completely awe with their florals and decor so it’s a detail heaven, but Tatiana and Eric are absolutely beautiful together.

Their wedding day was absolutely perfect –– I know I say that a lot, but there truly isn’t one thing about their day that didn’t happen as planned (HUGE thanks to Courtney, their planner!). It was a mild, sunny spring day and there was very little stress with a lot of emotion.

The morning started off with a tearful daddy / daughter first look between Tatiana and her dad. Not a dry eye was in the room when he turned around and she fell into her arms. Thankful she was able to hold it together for their first look, but the Eric’s face said absolutely everything. I mean, he has a stunning bride!!! Tatiana chose a wedding dress with an open back and added a “back necklace” which may be my new favorite accessory. It was so unique and I was in love with it (and you’ll see that because I was always taking photos of her back!).

Because of their first look, we were able to spend their cocktail hour time getting all of their family photos and then venturing down on the beach for even more creative newly-wed portraits. This is my favorite part of the day because things finally get to slow down a little and they get to spend some time together before heading into their party.

And it was a PARTY!!!! I had the most fun with their guests!!! Every person was laughing and spinning someone around the dance floor…though Paul from Generations DJ knows how to throw an awesome party. If every reception could be that fun, I would gladly spend every weekend at a wedding!

Tatiana and Eric, I am SO thankful you found me and chose me to photograph your special day!!! You two are so incredibly loved and have surrounded yourself with the absolute sweetest people. I can’t wait to hang out the next time you come to Wilmington. Love you guys!!!
