I seriously get to work with the most GORGEOUS seniors!!!! Lindsay is absolutely no exception…these are some of my favorite UNCW portraits yet. She is a Recreation Therapy major, which means she works with individuals with disabilities and she has a huge passion for advocating for and working with that population.
She let me know prior to her photos that she loved her smile –– both with teeth and as a “soft smile.” You know I was excited about that!!! My favorite photos are definitely the ones where you’re laughing because I think that captures personality best, but I am also so drawn to “model” photos for their simple beauty. Lindsays pulls both off so beautifully.
For her session, we started by our favorite fountain on UNCW’s campus, and then headed to the front of campus with the Seahawk. Lindsay and I both loved the trees that line the front lawn and with the light…it was magic!! That may be my new favorite location on campus.
It wouldn’t be UNCW senior photos without going to Wrightsville Beach. Most of my seniors choose to just keep their cap and gown on for campus photos but Lindsay wanted some in the sand. I LOVE THEM. Of course we did have to get some casual headshots too. At one point her mom said “I know I’m biased but I make beautiful babies!” I couldn’t agree more!
I love when we get to the point in sessions where you’re completely comfortable and really start to feel confident. That’s when you can be more playful and get those in-between, gorgeous photos…obsessed. Just see for yourself!!!
Lindsay, thank you for asking me to be your senior photographer and bringing me along for this journey! You’re going to make a huge impact on so many people. Congratulations again!!!
