I have so many words for Kayla and Clayton’s sweet wedding day. When Kayla reached out to me on a whim hoping I would still be available for their May wedding we were both beside ourselves when I was!!! I couldn’t have imagined being anywhere else.
Kayla and Clayton chose to hold their ceremony under the big tree in Kayla’s parent’s backyard, which is right down the road from Clayton’s family’s farm. It was like the tree was made for this day! Engaging Events by Wendy and Cheryl’s Floral Design teams did the best job of making sure that everything looked absolutely perfect. It can be hard to pull off a private residence wedding as flawlessly as this day but when you hire professional vendors it makes the biggest difference in allowing you to fully enjoy your day.
There were a LOT of happy tears shed in this house! It was a quiet morning and once we got Kayla into her dress…no one could hold it together. She chose to do a first look with both her bridesmaids and her dad and they were both SO incredibly sweet. We all thought her daddy was going to hold it together but as he hugged her and held his little girl in his arms, we all took in the moment with him.
It was the perfect moment to set up the rest of the day, with a similarly slow emotional first look between Kayla and Clayton. I thought it was so sweet that both her dad and Clayton had the same reaction of keeping it together at first and then having a quiet moment of really being lost in the moment.
While it was a hot day, we were able to finish all of our photos quickly and when it was time for the ceremony, a cloud came over in just the perfect timing. We were so thankful!
Kayla and Clayton are exactly what I look for in a couple. Someone who trusts me wholly, who values the effort I put in to capture their day the way it should be remembered, and who love each other so beautifully. I am so thankful for both of their families and how they loved on us even on a day that was about them. They are so about community and it was so wonderful to see these two families and communities come together.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Tyndall!!! I am so excited for the two of you and can’t wait to see all that your marriage brings this world. Love you!!!
