Sometimes in life you meet people that you instantly connect with. It feels effortless to be around them and the conversations can go on for hours.

That’s how it feels when Drew, Jenna, Weston, and I are all together. I am so thankful to have found vendor friends that have turned into real life friends, and that they invited me to be a part of some of the biggest moments in their lives so far.

You may recognize Drew and Jenna from previous weddings (24k Cinema) – Drew truly has a talent that I admire and the way he creates films is just…magic! You may also recognize them from their surprise proposal on the beach, where Drew asked Jenna to be his forever and then we celebrated with their families.

It’s always so interesting to see how wedding vendors create their own wedding days. We spend every weekend at these events, seeing all of the options, colors, vendor teams, timeline structures…the good, the bad, and the beautiful. When Drew and Jenna shared their vision for their day I was 100% on board.

They wanted a day that was (of course) full of beautiful things – and they definitely delivered with the colors, the florals, and the venue!!! But they also wanted stress-free, intimate, and intentional. They curated a team of their favorite wedding vendor friends, invited their closest family members, and spent the day capturing their love for each other.

I love days like this because they’re so centered around the question “what do you want to do?” AND they have the space for you to answer that honestly. There’s no need to rush into the next section of the day, but we move through effortlessly because we already crafted a day with only the things they wanted to do.

On a selfish (but is it?) side note, these are some of the most beautiful portraits I’ve ever taken. I was just in awe and inspired all day. Once you scroll through you’ll agree that it would be hard to not be inspired!

Drew and Jenna, you two are simply the best. I am so thankful to work alongside you and call you my friends. I am so excited for you as you enter into this next chapter and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. I love you!
