I met Courtney and Matt a year ago when Courtney was a bridesmaid in Preston and Drew’s wedding (who just welcomed a beautiful baby right after this wedding day!). Courtney came up to me to introduce herself and Matt and told me they were getting ready to start planning and she’d be reaching out. It was so special to me that she such a good experience that she wanted to work with me again!

Courtney and Matt are two people who have such a welcoming light and presence, and that was just reiterated throughout the day as we met their friends and family.

Their wedding was a beautiful fall day by the beach. Matt was understandably emotional seeing his bride walk down the aisle, and it was so sweet to see him fully lean into that once he saw his mom. Courtney had her moments as well when dancing with Matt and her uncle for the first time. I know not everyone expresses emotion the same way but it’s so beautiful to see them honor and love those who have made such an impact on them.

Their reception included beautiful toasts from their best friends and a little surprise on cake from Courtney who had little miniatures of their two dogs and cat made! We spent the night dancing (aka twerking) and laughing until they had their private last dance and made their grand exit!

Courtney and Matt, thank you so much for asking me to capture your big day! I always love spending time with you. Congratulations again!!!!
