I normally don’t get asked to go much further than Raleigh for senior sessions but when Rebecca reached out after finding me on Instagram I knew I HAD to work with her!
She had been looking for a photographer that was going to make her feel comfortable and would do more than just take her photos and be done, so I’m SO excited that she decided I was the woman for the job!!
She is so sweet, as are her mom and her best friend Kelsey who tagged along for support (Kelsey provided ALL the natural laughs!). We talked about all that they are planning on doing next year –– she’s moving to Greenville which means she’ll be a little closer to my side of the state!
We met in Uptown Charlotte by Marshall Park so we could have a good mix of city and natural backdrops. We ended up finding WAY more than we even expected in just a block radius!
Rebecca started out in her East Carolina t-shirt to get some photos reppin’ her future home and then changed into the cutest yellow top and denim shorts. She wore a lot of yellow (for ECU!) and I LOVE IT!
We ended the session on top of the parking deck with a view of the city skyline. I may or may not have had to actually crawl in the back of a truck to get some of those shots but you know…I do what I gotta do.
She looks like the perfect combination of sweet and sassy in all of the photos and I was so excited to have the chance to photograph somewhere I had never been before!
Here are my favorites from her uptown Charlotte session 🙂
