Ohhhh I am SO excited to share these!!! Jordan just makes the most beautiful bride!
I am always really proud of my work, but I am extra proud of these. Why? Because it was actually POURING outside. It was an ugly day with thick clouds and our venue was surrounded by thick pine trees.
You know what that means…limited lighting and limited locations.
Though this type of situation is tough, all I really need to create a beautiful portrait is ONE location with good lighting. Thankfully The Parlour at Mann’s Chapel has a gorgeous (but front porch that was perfect. It was only a few square feet of dry space but the white walls were a great reflector and there was enough room to not get Jordan’s dress wet.
The result…WOW!!!
The rain did let up long enough for me to get some wide shots featuring the chapel but honestly the ones on the porch are my favorites!
To get some with her gorgeous, cathedral length veil, we went inside to use The Parlour’s vintage couch and huge mirror. I love these too because they’re so southern and classic.
I want to thank Jordan for being patient with me as I worked to create the BEST light and color for her bridal portraits. It’s so important to work with a photographer that can make tricky situations like this work, and for you to be patient as they problem solve for you!
Ain’t no rain keeping this girl from looking flawless!!!
