I don’t know if I’ve ever laughed as much during an engagement session as I did with Morgan and Grant. Morgan brought her mom along as a surprise guest and she was a HOOT! The four of us were giggling the whole time walking through the gardens.
Morgan is a North Carolina girl, growing up in South Port, where Grant vacationed all of his life…but they never ran into each other. They actually met with Grant’s mom was getting her teeth cleaned by Morgan and strategically was asking questions about her life. Little did Morgan know Grant’s mom was a mastermind and suggested Morgan meeting her son. I love that she essentially picked her daughter-in-law!
Now they spend their time going on little road trips, hanging at the beach, cooking, and being outside as much as possible. They’ll be getting married this summer at the Brooklyn Arts Center in downtown Wilmington, NC and if their engagements were just a taste of what to expect for the wedding, I am EXCITED!!!!
PS. If you are looking for ideal Airlie Gardens engagement photos, the first half of March is the month you want to aim for!!! The tulips were in full bloom and they were gone within the next few days of these photos. I live for this color!!!!
