I have always been thankful for the communities that Facebook allows me to be a part of. It makes my little entrepreneurship world feel a lot smaller and let’s me keep updated with all of the awesome things people are doing with their businesses (even if using Facebook makes me old!).

This summer my many Facebook groups have added even more to my life –– connecting me with new clients!

I am lucky enough to live close to a beach and within a few hours of LOTS of beaches. I didn’t realize how many families and couples would want photos on their vacations but honestly, it’s such a smart idea!

Katelyn and Will celebrated their 3rd anniversary at the beginning of July and took a short little vacation in Ocean Isle Beach, NC while their daughter was at camp.

With vacations, we only have a few days to make it happen and there was a HUGE storm rolling into town the day of their session. We decided that we would brave the wind so we could have the sunshine.

Everything was beautiful and glowy…right up until our location and outfit change! These clouds were DARK and SCARY. But we made it work!!!

I love how sweet and romantic Katelyn and Will look in the sand and we even got some with the ocean waves. I appreciated their patience and ability to work quickly so we could use all of the light we had available! This is a perk of working with fellow photographers!!
