Sweet Samantha Holley. Y’all, I cannot tell you how grateful I am for this human being. She is the person who has held me together this year, supported me endlessly, and provided me with much needed girls’ nights as I am living 15 hours from home. She radiates with positivity, love, and grace.
…which means it comes to no surprise that she found someone like Ned Nelson. Ned is a southern gentleman, who goes out of his way to love Sami and provide her with whatever she wants/needs…and her friends too! 😉 The love and passion between them is something to be admired.
Over Christmas, Ned asked Sami to be his other half forever (#nedlyweds #finally), and I couldn’t have been more excited! When I was asked to take their engagement photos, I was even more pumped. I have been reading and reading to improve myself as a photographer and this was the perfect couple to put some new techniques to use.
Their session was effortless. They focused on laughing and loving each other, while I focused on capturing it in a simple and beautiful way.
We explored beautiful downtown Hattiesburg, the train depot (one of my favorite places), and some of the most iconic spots on the University of Southern Mississippi’s campus (where Sami and Ned met!).
Without further delay, here are Sami + Ned’s engagement photos. Prepare to fall in love.
