I have known Aaron since fourth grade. We were best friends all throughout high school –– he even picked me up and drove me to school before I had my license!

So naturally when his fiance Jessica reached out to me about being their wedding photographer I was SO excited!!! She is the perfect compliment to him and I am so excited to be celebrating them starting their new journey.

For their engagement session, Jessica and Aaron wanted a coastal feel –– they to travel and love the beach. I’m now on a mission to get them to move to Wilmington!! We started off at a local marina in Carolina Beach, NC and then headed down the island to Fort Fisher.

There was actually a storm slowly rolling in during their session but we had gorgeous light and were able to move down the island before it got to us!! I am so thankful for Jessica and Aaron being so flexible as we moved quickly through all of our locations –– also thankful for lots of open space and the sound for providing areas with a lot of light and less wind when we need it!!!

I cannot wait for May to get here so we can get these two married at The Firehouse!!!
