You may remember Katelyn and Jonathan from their uptown Charlotte, NC engagement session with their PRECIOUS pup, Harlow! They were originally supposed to be celebrating their wedding on May 16th, but unfortunately COVID-19 caused them to postpone.
Even though there have been a few roadblocks, we’re now patiently waiting for October 16th to get here so we can party on the rooftop for their Wrightsville Beach wedding!
Jon is so sweet and insisted that they still celebrate their original wedding date with a weekend trip to Wilmington and photos in Airlie Gardens. They stayed at a beach house on Wrightsville and came beautifully dressed up for their “original wedding date” photos!
This is my first time photographing my own couple in Airlie Gardens (I’ve second shot here before!) and I was so excited to take them around all of my favorite spots. You can’t go to Airlie Gardens without using the giant oak tree covered in Spanish moss or the vintage looking pergola!
I love that these two aren’t letting obstacles stop them from celebrating and loving each other. This is just adding to the strong foundation they’ve built for a beautiful marriage…and I am so glad I get to capture it!!!
