Do you ever feel like some things are just meant to be? That’s exactly how I describe finding and working with Kayla and Clayton! It’s no secret that the busiest wedding months in North Carolina are April-May and October…so when Kayla and Clayton chose May 22, 2021 only a few months before they knew it would be hard to find a photographer.
Well….by some miracle, that was one of the ONE dates I had available for this spring!!! We were both so excited and I am SO thankful I am able to join them for this huge moment in their lives. Kayla and Clayton are both so incredibly kind and easy-going and accommodating. I love that they trusted me so deeply from the start and are always seeking out my advice. While I’m not a wedding planner, I love to help how I can because it reflects in the photos!!!
For their engagements, they wanted to use a sentimental location…Clayton’s family farm! Kayla and Clayton actually grew up only a few miles away from each other and had never met!!! You truly never know if your soulmate and future is literally right down the road. I loved walking around the farm, hearing about their life they’re building together…and Clayton even showed me how his cow will chase his car down the road when he gets home. I was in love!!!!
It won’t be long before you see these two on the blog again for their gorgeous private residence wedding AND Kayla’s bridal portraits that were taken at the same location (her parent’s beautiful home!!!). It’s killing me to keep them under wraps because she makes a stunning bride! For now, you can get to know them through their sunny engagement photos!!!
