It really is such a small world. When I am asked how I know Casey and Kyle, there are SO many connections. I knew Casey from growing up in the same hometown, then both going to UNCW. I actually took her college senior photos…and now she’s one of my brides! I met Kyle freshman year of college because we lived on the same floor in our dorm (shoutout G2!).
Kyle and Casey started dating in college, where Casey fell in love with Kyle’s blue eyes, gentleman charm, and his ability to make her giggle –– even though Kyle had his head down in his books studying, once exams were over he knew he had found his girl!
I personally think they are a PERFECT fit, and I couldn’t be more excited for them to get married.
For their engagement photos, they wanted to use a place very special to their families. Kyle’s family recently built a house on Figure Eight Island and it is gorgeoussss. The whole island is beautiful, so of course I said ABSOLUTELY!
We started off on the sound side of the beach, then headed to the yacht club for some photos with the boat docks. Lastly we headed back to the house for photos on the beach –– then they ended the night with pizza (or at least that’s what Kyle was promised!!!).
He wasn’t super excited about spending a few hours in front of the camera (imagine that…ha!) but we made it fun and it went by super quick!
Here are a few of my favorites 🙂 You will see them back on the blog this upcoming June for their wedding day!!!
For our last location, we headed back to Kyle’s family’s GORGEOUS beach house to change and head out on the beach! Y’all, this house is literally a dream. We were able to walk right out onto the beach.
These are extra special because this house will be in their family for a long time, which means all of the future kids and grandkids will see these photos and know exactly where they were taken. I love that so much!
