I met Katelyn in college when we both joined Alpha Chi Omega and it is SO wild to me that all of my sisters are getting married!!! AND that I get to be alongside them capturing all of the gorgeousness!!!

I met John for the first time at their engagement session and I just couldn’t imagine anyone better for Katelyn. He is SO nice and the way they laugh together is what everyone hopes they will find.

Since they live in Charlotte and will be getting married in Wilmington, Katelyn and John wanted their engagement photos in the city. They actually live walking distance from all of our locations, which was super cool!

We wandered through the city parks to find a few unsuspecting locations with good lighting (also a huge shoutout to HYP Images for helping us find some!), and then went back to the apartment to change and pick up Harlow, their year and a half old golden retriever.

(Yes. I was absolutely obsessed with her.)

After the shoot was over we grabbed dinner and hung out for a little! I cannot wait for their wedding this upcoming May in Wrightsville Beach, NC. It’s going to be gorgeous!!!

For our second location, we headed back to the apartment to grab their sweet pup Harlow and drove over to Fraiser Park. Harlow was SO good running around getting some of her energy out!

You can see the city skyline from the park and there was lots of open space. My favorites are the ones with Harlow bouncing around beside them –– it probably looks the most like real life, ha!
