Joining a couple for their wedding day is always a beautiful and fun journey to be a part of…it’s even MORE fun when it’s one of my dear friends! I’ve known Lexi now for years, which is crazy to think about because it feels like just yesterday we were taking photos together on her first bid day.

When she met Stuart, she told me allllll about him at a wedding I was photographing for another one of our Alpha Chi sisters. She was just beaming and I knew there was definitely something special about this guy. After spending time with the two of them together for their engagement photos, I saw just how in love with each other they both are!

I am a very “directive” photographer, meaning I will tell you exactly what to do with your posing and your hands…but that doesn’t mean you can’t add in your own personality! I loved that Lexi and Stuart took my direction but made it their own by being playful and laughing with each other the whole time. That’s how you get those photos that everyone says “Wow, I can just FEEL the love between you two!”

Now that we have the coastal start of their relationship covered with photos at Fort Fisher, we can move on to their North Carolina mountain wedding this fall is going to be incredible and I cannot wait!!!
