SWEET, sweet Hannah and Cole!!! I knew Hannah and I were going to be a perfect fit for each other when we had our first call to talk through her wedding day dreams and see if we’d like working together.
She is so easy-going, kind, and was willing to listen to all of my suggestions to make her day easier. When she and Cole decided to officially make me their wedding photographer, I was so excited!!!
They are getting married on 10.10.20 (the coolest date!) at The May-Lew Farm in Farmville, NC –– right down the road from their little farmhouse! Cole has been farming alongside his family for a long time so it’s perfect that they’ll be tying the knot close to home.
Since May-Lew Farm offers their venue for engagement photos, we started there for some fall, farm photos. It was nice to be able to walk around with Hannah and Cole to get a feel for what the setup will look like! I love this especially since we’re able to see what the light is doing and we can set up the ceremony to be perfect for the sun 😉
Once we were done at the farm, we headed to their farmhouse that they are working on fixing up! They have so many connections to this house, from farming the land to Hannah’s senior photos, so it is so cute that they now own it and it will be their first home together!
They did have a few cows on the land –– which I was SO excited for. Cole actually proposed to Hannah by asking her to take a ride to check on the cows (they’re her favorite too!), so you know we had a to get a few with them!
I can’t wait to see them again in a year for their big day!!! For now, enjoy my favorites from their fall engagement photos 🙂
I loved this second outfit because I LOVE yellow! It’s so bright and cheery (which describes Hannah’s personality perfectly!). Not everyone can pull it off so when I get a girl who’s ready to be bright and bold, I am living for it!!
For our last location, we headed to Hannah and Cole’s farmhouse that they are currently working on fixing up! This land has been farmed by Cole’s family for years and Hannah actually took her high school senior photos at the house before they owned it!
I know these photos will be so special to their family’s future generations because this is where it will have all began!
