Emily and Evan are high school sweethearts and are the absolute sweetest. It’s really exciting when I get to work with a couple who has had such a long journey together, and I know their wedding is going to be a huge celebration of people that already feel like one big family (hopefully with a few past couples!).
For their engagements, they live near Raleigh so we headed to one of my favorite locations, the NC Museum of Art. I was extra excited for this shoot because they brought along their brand new Australian Labradoodle, Birdie, who reminded me SO much of baby Dune. I was living for the puppy kisses!!
It was really hard for me to narrow down photos even to include in this recap because there are SO many that I love. This location is so fun because it gives the illusion of mountains, and there are always so many fall colors. When we came across part of the field that was in bloom, I about lost it, and Emily and Evan were fueled by my energy LOL. I love a chance to play with composition and make something look even more magical than it is to the naked eye!
Emily and Evan, I am so excited to be on the journey with you and I am counting down the days until November!!!
