I have been so lucky that the sweetest, most genuine couples have chosen to work with me for their wedding days – Haley and Josh are no exception! You can tell how much they adore each other by how comfortable and calm they are with each other. We were working with a lot of wind AND a whole film crew set up (for the second season of the Sumer I Turned Pretty) and still everything was beautiful and fun.

Josh proposed to Haley in January, where he took her to Tryon Palace for a tour. Haley absolutely loves fairytales, romance, castles, and all things girly. She said she had no idea but her mom talked her into wearing a nice dress because she said it was a fancier setting. They went through the tour and were walking in the garden when he asked her. Haley’s best friend was hiding in the bush taking pictures! So sweet!!!

For their engagement photos, we stayed with the romantic theme and headed to Fort Fisher, NC. I love the way the light comes over the trees and the rocks. It’s like no place else – it’s literally a movie set!

I can’t wait to be a part of their June 2023 wedding at The First Pentecostal Church in Goldsboro, NC!!!
