It is one of my true joys when I get to work with someone through multiple seasons of life. Kalli was actually one of my seniors years ago (along with her sister!), so when she reached out to me about her wedding date I was ecstatic…and I hadn’t even met Colby yet!! He is the icing on the cake!
I’m not sure how it’s possible to have two people with such sweet, outgoing, and kind demeanors, but I guess it shouldn’t surprise me that they found each other.
Fun Fact: They actually went to elementary school together, dated on and off in middle school (cute!), and then reconnected in high school after Colby came to support Kalli at her volleyball game.
Their engagement session at Fort Fisher was so much fun, especially since both of them were all in on the photos.
They included their dog, Griffin, who I think wins the award for the most behaved dog at a shoot ever. Usually, I recommend bringing someone to watch them because obviously photos can be hard with a dog wanting to run around, but Griffin laid right by my feet the entire time. He just wanted to make sure he could see mom and dad haha.
Kalli and Colby, I am SO excited to be your photographer!!! You will definitely be seeing these two again soon for their wedding at Rose Hill Estate (this is my official petition to make sure Griffin is in attendance).
