Emily and Mitchell are getting married on October 27, 2018 and after this session, I am SO excited for the big day.
Mitchell proposed to Emily at Meadow Lights in Benson in December of 2017 when they went to look at Christmas lights. While they were taking pictures by the lights, he got down on his knee and Emily was completely surprised!
They are clearly crazy about each other, which makes my job really really easy. I love the way they look at each other and completely trusted me throughout the entire session (especially when it came to the nuzzle!). They didn’t take any time at all to get comfortable in front of the camera and by the end of the session they were dancing, laughing, and having so much fun with each other…and those lead to the BEST photos!
We had to reschedule this session FOUR TIMES. I’m serious. It felt like the weather would never be on our side, but when we finally got a clear evening, it was worth it! We met up in Goldsboro at Walnut Creek Country Club golf course for the most glowy engagement session.
I love the water and the way we were able to make this session not even look like it was on a golf course! I have been loving my brides who have been wearing flowy maxi dresses and Emily is no exception. Her dress paired perfectly with the corn fields and the water.
Here are my favorite images from the session, and I cannot wait to see them again in October!!!
