I’d like to introduce you to the woman herself, Chelsea Mercer. She is now the brand new #girlboss and owner of One Thirty Red, a local women’s boutique in Goldsboro, NC.
It has been Chelsea’s dream to open up a trendy, local boutique for years–which makes it even more awesome to see this vision come to life.
The name comes from one of the most influential people in her life: her grandma, Babe. One Thirty Red was the color of lipstick that she wore every day for her entire life. Chelsea posted an awesome story about how this name came to be and how Babe’s love is constantly providing the focus and future of this little shop.
Her grand opening was a HUGE success. I came out to support (I’d been helping with some of the preparations AND designed her brand!) and photograph this monumental day. People came in all day and were walking away with tons of cute clothes.
I’m very excited to see what’s in store for One Thirty Red and Chelsea’s future. I have no doubt that this boutique will become one of the go-to places in Goldsboro and play a major role in the Downtown Goldsboro rejuvenation project. So proud of you, Chels!
You know what’s super cool?
I created 130 Red’s brand and had an awesome time doing it! I am planning on posting her brand board soon, so be on the lookout.
