One of the things that I’ve found the hardest about leaving the marketing agency world to chase my entrepreneurial dreams was not having a team.

As a HUGE people person, I thrive on collaboration and strong relationships. It’s really easy to feel alone in this industry being a one-woman team, having competition, but still wanting friends who understand everything you’re dealing with.

That’s why I am SO thankful for Ashley of Aster Blooms Photography.

She is one of the most kind hearted and real people I know…not to mention she’s also an amazing photographer AND super mom!!

We’ve both been so busy but wanted to make some time to have a girls day and brainstorm some ideas we’ve been kicking around. This day came at just the right time and was SO good for my soul.

If you are running your own business, you MUST find a person like this –– someone you can vent to, share with, and know that they will support your dreams as much as you will their’s!

At the end of our girls’ day, I had the honor of taking a few photos of her precious family –– I just ADORE her boys! When I am a mom, I hope I’m just like her.
