If you have been following along with my story and this business, you’ve noticed that I have been MUCH busier than normal lately! I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to do the work I desperately needed to do on this business and create and provide an experience that makes my clients feel special.
This is partly due to me leaving my full time position at the marketing agency I was running at the end of January. It was a tough transition but ultimately has produced nothing but amazing opportunities that have allowed me to grow as a person, spend some time reflecting on what I really want to do with the skills that I have, and cultivate the relationships and opportunities that really matter to me.
Over the past few months I have had the chance to:
As I talked about in the “My One Word For 2018” post, I have BIG GOALS for this year (this is no surprise to the people who know me…it seems like I always have big goals for everything). One of those goals was to land another full time position that allows me to continue to grow in my career and develop the relationships and skills that will help me achieve the things I want in life.
I am so happy to announce that I have found just that in the Connecticut-based HubSpot Partner marketing, sales, content, and almost-anything-you-could-need agency, IMPACT.
At the beginning of the month, I joined their team as an Inbound Specialist/Account Executive (meaning I will continue working directly with clients to achieve their marketing, website, and sales goals). I am SO excited to work so closely with a team that shares my passion for growth, transparency, communication, and being super helpful to each other and everyone we encounter.
After spending a week in the IMPACT office, I know this is the perfect place to call home.
The best part…I will be staying in Wilmington, NC!!! I am working remotely (from the beautiful new townhome I just moved into –– pics to come) so Dakota Hersey Photography will continue as normal.
Thank you to all of my supporters, clients, friends, and family for always believing in me, advising me, and pushing me to achieve the things I didn’t even think possible. I have THE BEST community. I trusted the process, and the best is yet to come 🙂
If you are entering into a new phase in your life, or are waiting for your next step, I’d love to chat and be your supportive shoulder! There is so much to be thankful for and I love hearing about your exciting news so please, please, please reach out!
