If you’ve been following along with my photography business journey, you know I LOVE shooting seniors, couples, and weddings. I have found the most success by focusing the people I know I can serve best and have the most joy capturing.
But that doesn’t mean that I don’t like to branch out every once in awhile to challenge myself and provide beautiful images to those outside of that market.
When Brittni reached out to me about her maternity photos (because she loved her best friend’s little sister Katelyn’s photo so much!!) I was really excited to photograph my second maternity session ever!
She and Sean are SO sweet and I can’t wait for them to welcome their little girl into the world.
For their maternity session, Brittni wanted a lot of beach and places for her pretty pink dresses to POP! I knew we would make it to the beach eventually but wanted them to have some other fun variety so I had us go to my favorite local neighborhood first.
The hydrangeas are in bloom (which also just so happen to be the flowers from their wedding!) and I can’t pass up any opportunities to use them before they die!
When we did make it to the beach it was a little windy but Brittni looked gorgeous and I was thankful for all of the greenery on the south end that provided the most beautiful backdrop.
I loved having the chance to do something a little outside my “normal” and I love the way these turned out!!
Here are my favorites from Brittni’s Wrightsville Beach maternity photos 🙂
