This is the first year I have launched my high school senior spokesmodel program, and so far it has been so much fun! I received over 20 applications and picked the girls that I felt represented Dakota Hersey Photography the best to join my team for a year of photo sessions, hanging out together, and surprises!
Part of being a spokesmodel is that you have your own individual session to celebrate everything that makes them special…PLUS the chance to have multiple group sessions throughout the year! For our first group session, the DHP spokesmodels met up at One Thirty Red Boutique (Thank you, Chelsea!!) to get ready for our evening photoshoot.
We spent the afternoon dancing, trying all of of 130 Red’s clothing (she even let the girls pick whatever they wanted to wear in the photos!) and getting their make up done by Alyssa Turnage and hair by Marien Stark (my beautiful roommate and friend!). Alyssa was a JOY to work with and I highly recommend her for all seniors who want their make up done for their future sessions. She does a perfect job of making it dramatic for the photos, but still highlighting your natural beauty.
After we had decided on everyone’s fall-inspired outfits, we headed to The Grantham House, one of Goldsboro’s newest venues. Let me just say, I CAN NOT wait to shoot here more often! Between the colorful leaves, the red barns, and the farm animals, this was the perfect location for our fall shoot.
(We also enjoyed the quail that chased us around the entire session, leading our parade with their loud honking ????)
I loved hanging out with the girls for the day and watching them have fun with each other! Not to mention the photos are absolutely GORGEOUS. I took on a pretty big group for my first spokesmodel team, but I am so grateful for each and every one of them!
Be on the lookout throughout the year for their individual session and more group sessions!
