I’ve been a photographer for a few years now so it’s always exciting to me when I get to work with people over and over again. It’s even more interesting to see how much my own work has changed!!

I did family photos of Colleen and her sisters back in 2013 (6 years ago!!!!) and her older sister Meredith was on my first senior spokesmodel team. Naturally I was excited that Colleen applied to be on my team because she is the perfect representation of #dakotaherseyseniors!

For her session, she wanted a downtown feel with some coastal vibes. I suggested that we go downtown (which was actually where we did our first shoot 6 years ago) and then to River Road Park for some photos in the marsh.

I was SO surprised when I opened up the door to let the Jones’ in, because they had my mom with them!!! Our families are really close so they had asked if my mom wanted to tag along! She rarely gets to watch me do my thing so she hung out with us throughout the shoot and we got Mellow Mushroom afterwards!

Colleen is absolutely gorgeous. I absolutely LOVE her model face –– you’ll see that I made her do it a LOT. She brought a cute casual outfit, something a little more glam, and then a pretty white maxi dress for the marshlands.
