I am so thankful that even in the midst of all of this craziness I was able to spend some time with a few of my seniors…while remaining apart! This will be one of my last senior sessions for awhile but between the light and Shannon’s posing it will hold me over for awhile!
Shannon is a senior at Charles B. Aycock and will be attending Appalachian State University in the fall. She’s also a member of my 2020 spokesmodel team…AND she’s a famous singer!!! Check her out > @singingwithshannon
One of my favorite parts about photographing Shannon is that she is always ready to put her own flair on the posing (and she ALWAYS has an Instagram caption in mind for each photo). I give a little direction and she runs with it…the photos turn out SO cute!!! We talked about bringing a posing tutorial to all of you in the future to help teach you how to be comfortable and make the posing your own. Once this quarantine is over, that will definitely be coming your way!
For her photos, she wanted a mix of sweet, pretty photos for her grandparents with a historical downtown feel paired with more trendy, edgy photos by the city part of downtown. I loved this because we have a ton of variety for her to use a ton of different ways!
Here are just a few of my favorites (so hard to narrow down!!!)!
I’m Dakota, a Wilmington, NC-based photographer Helping engaged couples feel comfortable in front of the camera and creative businesses grow with purposeful brand imagery.
