I tell you what, Bailey is one of my favorite people to photograph. She is gorgeous and just has a way of giving so many different looks in one sitting that it lets me get super creative! I would say that she should look into being a model but she has WAY bigger plans.
Bailey is a senior at Southern Wayne High School, a member of my 2021 senior spokesmodel team, and will be attending High Point University in the fall. Fun fact: she didn’t know that would be her school choice at the time of her session and she still wore purple…it was meant to be!!
Bailey is fashionable, loves to travel and learn about about other cultures, and she’s obsessed with her lil babe yorkie, Marley. She’s a dancer, which you could probably tell by her gracefulness, and she has big, big dreams for her future…a girl after my own heart.
For her session, she wanted a mix of Charleston and beachy vibes, so we started downtown in front of one of my favorite houses (which is actually owned by some friends of friends and is being renovated!). I loved the mix of the greens, blues, and reds to really make Bailey POP!
Next we headed downtown, thankfully avoided the rain storm we saw rolling in! It actually provided really gorgeous soft light that we took total advantage of on the beach. I love that Bailey chose multiple bright colors that popped against the neutral beach tones. Some of my favorite photos are of her in front of the mural (thank you clouds for allowing us to use it!). So unique and cute!
We ended at the south end of Wrightsville Beach and this is really where magic was made. There was a random bloom of wildflowers where I normally shoot and it was GORGEOUS. Between those, the bright blue water, and Bailey is a flowy white dress, it looked heavenly!!! Just like a magazine!!! Obsessed.
Bailey, thank you for choosing me to be your photographer and for being on my team!! You are going to have so much fun at HPU and I can’t wait to see all of your updates and accomplishments!!!
