Meet Haley, a sweet Charles B. Aycock Class of 2017 senior! When her mom, Pam, reached out to be about photographing Haley’s senior portraits I was so excited when they said she wanted to come to Wilmington for them! I love Goldsboro, but nothing compares to the southern charm of downtown Wilmington. Haley will be moving to Wilmington for school in the fall, so it was perfect!
She and her aunt Scarlet met me downtown and I was so grateful they were willing to walk all over downtown with me to find the perfect variety of spots. I love the historic homes, and many people don’t know how pretty Cape Fear Community College’s campus is too! I love going to multiple locations so my seniors have a variety of photos that show all of sides of who they are!
While Haley’s mom kept saying that she was shy but I wouldn’t have even known! We walked around talking about all that she plans to do while in Wilmington, her love for animals, and her excitement for getting to spend more time with her older brother––all while taking gorgeous portraits!
When asked about the experience, Pam said: “I called Dakota last minute for senior portraits. She jumped right on it! My daughter, Haley, is quite shy and doesn’t like to be in the spotlight. However, my sister helped her get prepared and they met Dakota in downtown Wilmington! Haley and my sister, Scarlet, had a great time. Scarlet relayed to me everything they did and how many laughs they enjoyed. She also stated that Dakota was very knowledgeable about what she was doing and led Haley every step of the way. We were EXTREMELY pleased with the photographs! I would recommend Dakota to anyone that need photographs taken. She’s a great photographer. Thanks Dakota for your patience and time. We will be back!”
Pam, thank you so much for your kind words!!! I absolutely loved photographing Haley and can’t wait to work with y’all again.
