This post is a little bittersweet…it’s my LAST individual session recap with my 2021 senior spokesmodels! Kate definitely allowed me to end this year on a high note (even though it’s not *totally* done because we still have a team hangout + graduation shoot coming up!). She is so incredibly sweet, which isn’t surprising because both of her parents are too!
Kate is a senior at Wayne School of Engineering, where she’s a huge part of their varsity cheer team. I’ve been so proud watching that squad grow and advance over the past few years!! She’s a beach girl at heart who loves bright colors, so when I suggested going to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk she was totally down!
This was my first time taking a senior here and I was in LOVE. There are so many different colors that made for a fun, bright session. After playing with the texture and color, we headed onto the beach, then to the marina.
I loved that Kate wore both of her grandmother’s rings as a tribute to them. It was a beautiful and subtle way to feel like they were a part of her photos and to remember the impact they’ve had in her life.
She also brought along both of her parents and her boyfriend, who I loved getting to know as we walked around the boardwalk. We had the perfect weather with just enough cloud to sun ratio to allow us to use all of the spots we loved and still get that glow!
Kate, I am so thankful you chose to me on my team this year! I can’t wait to see all that you achieve in the future!!!
