You know when you meet someone and you’re just immediately calmed and feel comfortable in their presence? That’s Anyla. She has the kindest soul and makes everyone feel welcome…and she’s STUNNING! I always love photographing her because that means I get to be around her AND we get gorgeous photos.

She is my first senior at Laney High School so naturally we had to do her senior photos in downtown Wilmington! Her biggest request was to have a field overlooking the city so she could have a mix of nature with city. Unfortunately we don’t have very many open fields overlooking Wilmington (mainly because we’re at the coast and everything is flat, haha) BUT I knew I had something that could work!!! There’s a little spot under the bridge that you can be on the water, surrounded by greenery and also see the city in the background.

It’s SO helpful when seniors have a vision for their photos and send me inspiration, but are also open and willing to let me create my own version of their Pinterest boards! I work SO hard to make your dreams come true, so the more specific you are the easier it is for me to find something that is fun and unique to you.

I also loved that Anyla brought both her mom and her dad. I do typically have moms at a lot of my senior sessions but Anyla was the first to bring her dad! I loved having both of them there (and we’re still trying to talk Mrs. Angela into buying him a camera, lol!) and we were even able to get some family photos. Those will definitely be special one day!

I am so thankful to have Anyla on my 2021 senior spokesmodel team and that I get to spend this entire year with her! Here are just a few favorites from her senior photos!!
