Rachel and I actually went to the same high school and our moms taught together! She reached out to me because she’s been following along on Instagram and asked me to come to the mountains for her senior photos!

The mountains typically have a specific photography style but she wanted her photos to be bright and colorful. This is usually easy to make happen on the beach so I was excited to head back up to the mountains and bring the light with me!

Who says you can’t have sunshine and flowers in the mountains?! She brought bright colored outfits to match the style we were going for and I think they turned out perfectly. I love that I came right when the flowers had started to bloom!

She’s graduating this May from Mars Hill University with a degree in Political Science and she is definitely a go-getter. I’m excited to see where she goes next!

We had to get a few with her boyfriend Anthony! He was so sweet to walk around campus with us, carrying all the things, and wearing a long sleeve shirt when it was actually pretty hot outside haha.

Rachel wants to go into policy and was really involved in the republican group on campus. I thought these looked so much like politician photos!! It must be the pearls!

Now on to the graduation photos!!! These are always so special to me for college students.

We headed to this little lot for the last part of the session to get some mountains in the background! Who would’ve thought we were beside an Ingles!

Popping champagne…rounds 2 & 3!!! It’s a lot harder than it looks so we got multiple bottles to make sure we got the perfect shot!
