Sweet, sweet Kayla!!! She is a senior at Charles B. Aycock and is one of my 2021 senior spokesmodels. Choosing my spokesmodels is one of the hardest decisions I have to make all year, but when applications like Kayla’s come through I knew I HAD to have her! She has such a kind spirit and is so welcoming to everyone around her. She’s well-traveled, positive, ambitious, and I’m so thankful she’s representing my business this year! She says she’s an introvert but I asked her if we could video some behind-the-scenes of her shoot and she turned it right on!!!

For her senior photos, she really wanted that southern garden feel along with the beach. We decided on Airlie Gardens, which I usually use for engagements and bridals so I was super excited to take a senior there! Airlie is always stunning and has so many little spots…it would take us hours to get all of them! We explored the Spanish moss covered trees, the boat docks, and the pergola before heading to Wrightsville Beach for the infamous photos on the sound.

We had the most gorgeous cloudy skies that the sun was pouring through and even with a little bit of wind, Kayla WORKED IT! Her boyfriend Brett was hyping her up the whole time while also filming for me, so he definitely has me as a fan now!! Kayla brought him, her mom, her sister, and her sister’s roommate and I loved laughing and talking with the whole squad.
