Senior season is in full swing and we’re taking fulllll advantage of this gorgeous weather lately…when it’s being pretty. We actually had to reschedule Grace’s original session for rain (and my sickness) but I was glad we did because it led us to this beautiful day!

Grace is a senior at Rosewood High School (my alma mater!!!), is the reigning 2019 Queen of the Fair, and a dance teacher at her mom’s dance school. She is full of sunshine and grace and was such a joy to be around all day!

She, her mom, and I wandered around the streets of downtown Wilmington for her first location. Her rust colored dress was my absolute favorite! It photographs SO well and is the perfect amount of pop when the sun came out.

We also wanted to capture her dance side since that’s such a big part of her life (and her future)! There is something so beautiful about a dancer and I love dance portraits that are a little less traditional and are more focused on the pure grace of her talent and pointed toes. I love the coziness of them too!

We ended on the beach where we were able to use the last little bit of light for some glowy sunset portraits. These are so pretty with her white dress –– what my dreams are made of, hehe.
