Shelby reached out to me about doing her senior photos and I was so excited because 1) she is stunning and 2) she knows how to work a model face. Combine that with her pup, Panda and her sassy southern momma and dad and we were in for a fun evening.
We started on UNCW’s campus by the building she spends the majority of her college classes in. I may be biased, but UNCW’s campus is one of the most beautiful campuses I’ve ever been on. With blue fountains, blooming flowers, and huge Greek columns, what’s not to love? Of course we had to get the classic photos with Sammy The Seahawk on the front of campus before moving to Wilmington’s historic downtown.
With downtown Wilmington being such a popular spot for sessions, I am constantly keeping my eye open for unique places for photos. We made our way to the top of the old parking deck overlooking the city. The top level of the main parking deck downtown is usually my favorite view, though this location is giving it a run for my money!
Shelby, thank you for asking me to be your senior photographer! You have one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know, and I can’t wait to see the huge differences you will make in people’s lives.
