This session meant a lot to me because Alicia is my little (in my sorority, Alpha Chi Omega)! I remember when she first started school, as an unsure (but also very determined) freshman. I, along with my best friend Kinsey, convinced her to join Alpha Chi and we became inseparable. We talked about about literally everything, all the time.
We started her session in front of the beautiful Watson School of Education on UNCW’s campus (it’s been used in multiple tv shows!). Side note: the “throwing your cap” photos are actually a LOT harder than they look! We were trying so hard not to mess up her beautiful work –– very stressful haha.
Alicia also brought along her other half, Raider! He wasn’t as excited about being in the photos but he cooperated for a least a few. It wouldn’t have been complete without him since he played such a huge role in her college career.
I felt SO old when she asked me to do her senior photos…like a proud mom. Alicia is graduating with an education degree focusing in special education. I know that she is going to make the biggest difference one day because she has a heart that truly cares about others and making their lives better. She is an extremely hard worker and one of the most determined people I know…so she will achieve anything she puts her mind to.
Enjoy my favorite images from her session below!!
