Cate Eagles is a senior at Wayne Country Day School and is stunninggg. I met her a few years ago because I photographed her old sister Eliza and have had her and Cate come to my spokesmodel shoot each summer to do makeup. They are SO good at it!!
Cate originally really wanted a sunflower field themed session. Unfortunately…Hurricane Dorian had other plans. We had to think on our feet since the field was no longer an option. Her mom ordered some sunflower stalks from a local florist AND found a whole table of them at Harris Teeter!
We started at the New Hanover Arboretum in Wilmington, NC and brought in the bouquets of sunflowers to get that bright, summery look Cate really wanted. Then we moved to the Wrightsville Beach Park and then the beach, of course!
Cate is a huge fan of fun earrings. I loved all of the pairs that she brought! It’s so fun to see how changing even just a small accessory changes the outfit. The pink parrots are my favorite!
Here are my favorites from her Wilmington senior photos! 🙂
Cate changed into this bright orange crop top and some funky feather earrings for her second outfit. It was the PERFECT color to incorporate the sunflowers!
For Cate’s last outfit, she wore a sweet white dress with the cutest parrot earrings! I loved the way the colors pop and look so classic.
Wrightsville Beach Park is starting to be one of my favorite locations for all of the greenery and flowers blooming!
For our last location, we headed to the south end of Wrightsville Beach, NC to get some glowy, sunset photos. Cate’s mom brought the sunflowers a little after she was able to find a parking spot. I love the yellow with all of the greenery of the beach!
I usually LOVE color, but this black and white is one of my all time favorites!
This sunset was perfect!!! Just the right amount of clouds and glowy light.
