This year of seniors has been especially fun because I’ve known most of them since they were babies because of my little brother Weston.
I told Caroline that I found photos of her when she was a baby in the little music class our church put on for the littles during the summer. And now she’s a SENIOR!!!
She is a busy lady with school (both college and high school classes) and teaching dance classes. We had her session in Goldsboro but she still wanted that classic light, bright, coastal feel.
Ask and you shall receive!!!!
We started at Herman Park for some greenery and sunny glow and then headed downtown for her dance and cap and gown photos.
I loved spending time with her and her parents, talking about NC State football games –– it sounds like we may be running into each other pretty often next year since I usually go with Kyle too!!
Both Caroline and her brother will be moving in in the fall and I am so excited for them!
Here are my favorites from her senior session 🙂
Now to the pink romper!!! This was Caroline’s favorite outfit and mine too! She really wanted the classic “Dakota Hersey” style with bright colors and lots of glow so I knew I needed to find some areas in Goldsboro that reflected that.
This white fence and big magnolia trees were perfect! I normally don’t get to use magnolia trees because they’re so dark but these had tons of light pouring through the branches.
These are some of my favorite images from the whole shoot!
I saw this little gray door with the white fence and jasmine on the side of the road when I was heading to the park and knew that we HAD to use it.
I may have been standing in the middle of a busy street to get the shot I had envisioned but it was SO worth it!
Caroline will be attending NC State University in the fall (along with her brother!) so we wanted to make sure we had plenty of red represented in her cap and gown photos 🙂
Caroline has been a dancer her whole life so of course we had to get some in her dance costumes. Now she teaches a class of littles at Artistic Dance Academy. She is absolutely stunning!
This one is my favorite!! I love the black and white.
These dance photos are some of my favorites. She’s so elegant and graceful!
