Last week I released my 2018 spokesmodel application, and I am so excited about it! I have already received more applications than I was expecting and am still on the search for the perfect team. With this program being new, I know you probably have a few questions about what this next year will look like if you were to become a DHP spokesmodel.

The most important information can be found on the application but here are a few of the questions I have been asked over the past week.

1. What will I be doing as a Dakota Hersey Photography spokesmodel?

This next year will be filled with lots of fun and photo opportunities for my team! As a spokesmodel, your main responsibility is to be my go-to-girl. This means participating in styled photo sessions, posting on your social media, being the face for my brand, and getting to know the rest of the team. My main goal is to create a one-of-a-kind experience for all of my seniors, but especially my spokesmodel team.

2. What is included in being a spokesmodel?

Spokesmodels will not only receive their individual session that we will work together to style according to their vision, but they will also participate in at least 2 additional styled sessions (hint: this includes pretty headshots and cap and gown photos!). Throughout the year, spokesmodels will be the first girls called for styled sessions for different projects I am working on and have the opportunity to earn cash and free prints through referrals.

Oh, and I’ve got some other fun surprises too 😉

3. How much of a time commitment is this? I have a lot going on!

Girl, I understand! I want to build a fun experience, not something that causes any stress. I am looking for outgoing and super involved girls to join my team, so I expect busy schedules! Sessions will be scheduled with the team’s schedules in mind so everyone will be able to participate in as many as possible.

4. What is the full cost of the program?

This is a one time fee and won’t have any additional costs throughout the year (unless you want to purchase prints and products!). Spokesmodels will have the chance to earn cash back through talking to their friends and getting referrals. Pretty easy, right?!

5. What is a styled session?

Good question! I will be working on a few projects this year to grow my business and also have some fun! Styled sessions are planned by me or other vendors in the area so it allows us to be creative and create something completely according to our visions.

Hint: The spokesmodel team will be working very closely with One Thirty Red Boutique. (eek!)

6. Help…I’m the mother of a high school senior boy and I want in too!

For this year, I am looking for just a team of ladies, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love my senior guys! I am still booking all high school seniors throughout the next year, and I’d love to work with you and your son.

7. How big will the team be?

I am currently planning on a team of about 8-10 girls. Unfortunately this means not every application will be accepted. I am looking for the perfect girls to represent everything Dakota Hersey Photography, who love to be in front of the camera, want to meet new friends, and live for all things bright, colorful, and joyful.
