One of the best things about living in the south is that bridals are an expectation! I think 2 out of 3 of my brides choose to add on a bridal session so they can have a day just about them getting dressed up and seeing themselves in the full bridal package before the wedding. Then they usually have 1 or 2 printed to display at their reception!
Hannah chose to have her bridals at her wedding venue, May Lew Farm, and I love that we were able to highlight her favorite parts of the space…mainly the barn! It also allowed me to get a quick walk-through of the space so on the wedding day I knew were all of the best light and locations were.
Having her mom there made for a really special experience with just the two of them. She helped Hannah get ready and make sure that everything was perfect, carried her bouquet, and even helped with some veil tosses! I love when bridal portraits are treated as a sweet moment for moms and daughters to take in this season without all of the craziness of a wedding day.
Hannah is just so stunning as a bride! Her dress was perfect for her personality –– a little bling along with her cowboy boots to show her roots! I was obsessed with the back details and how well her veil flew through the air.
Here are just a few of my favorites from her portraits!!!
