I don’t know if I’ve laughed as much at a wedding as I did for Morgan and Grant’s wedding. Morgan (and her mom Lesa!!!) are already a hoot themselves, and Grant is the perfect addition to their energy.
They chose to go with a pastel floral theme, filling the Brooklyn Arts Center with soft pinks, blues, and greens. I loved how Morgan and her mom designed their seating chart to match the inspiration and details of the invitation, including a custom crest on individual cards for each guest!
Each detail was so thought out, from the display of a ceramic hummingbird to represent a connection between many loved ones to the dance floor shoes representing each of their colleges.
The day started with high energy from the bridesmaids in their matching pink sets (from Target!!) and continued as Morgan’s dad and brother teared up seeing her for the first time.
The ceremony was sentimental. They had a “ring warming” ceremony where the rings were passed through all of the guests while Morgan and Grant washed each other’s hands. We teared up during the speeches with Morgan’s dad mentioning his love and respect for Grant as his now son.
…then the party popped off!!! The dance floor was a huge hit and we made sure to get the delicious s’mores from their food truck outside. I loveeee a late night snack!
Morgan and Grant, I have loved every second spent with you! I cannot wait to continue to watch your journey as husband and wife. Congratulations!!!
A huge thank you to the vendors who made this day beautiful!!!
