The LAST wedding of 2020!!!! While this year was not what we expected, I am SO thankful for a year where love still was the most important thing and we were still able to celebrate accordingly! I have only had a handful of winter weddings and this was my first Christmas-themed wedding…I was in LOVE! The classic Christmas trees with white lights, gold, and touches of red was so beautiful.

I knew I was going to love working with Alexis and Tyler from our first call. Alexis is just one of those people that you instantly feel comfortable around, like you’ve known each other forever. I love the way Tyler’s personality compliments hers, and watching them twirl around on the dance floor was a dream.

While they wanted to follow tradition with waiting to see each other until the ceremony, Alexis and Tyler did have a “first touch” where they met under the stairs for a prayer before they committed their lives to each other in front of all of their loved ones. There was so much excitement and anticipation as we moved through all of the photos and they prepared for their big moment.

Their reception was full of our favorite wedding dances…and a TON of beach music!!! I have always loved doing my own simple version of shagging but these couples were on another whole level!!! I couldn’t stop watching and trying to remember the steps. It looked so fun!

We’re ending the year the same way it started…with an extra long wedding recap blog post!!! I just can’t help myself when there is this much pretty! Enjoy and Merry Christmas!!!!
