Weddings are always so special to be a part of…and when they’re for your lifelong friends they’re even MORE special. Alyssa and I grew up together, with birthday parties, cheerleading practices, bus rides, school dances…you name it! I remember when she and TayBay (Rusty) starting dating and I am so happy that they’ve created such a beautiful life together –– and then asked me to capture one of their biggest moments!

They are so much fun to be around and I don’t have favorites…BUT TayBay has to be one of my favorite grooms ever. He has such a genuine heart and always goes along with my vision even when he’s a little skeptical, haha! I am thankful for his love for Alyssa and his patience with me because it’s lead to some gorgeous images!

Their day was destined to be gorgeous from the start. We had a huge tropical storm roll through town and DROWNED the town in water…but it left us with cool temperatures and a “water-front” view for the ceremony! While it’s unfortunate that the golf course flooded, it made for beautiful photos!!

I love when wedding days are filled with sentimental moments. Alyssa chose to do a first look with all of her grandparents along with a separate one for her dad, and they were SO sweet. TayBay and Alyssa gifted everyone special in their lives with little gifts, including keepsakes for their flower girls and ring bearer to keep for their own weddings one day.

When everyone had taken their seat for the ceremony, Alyssa and her dad started their way down the aisle and everyone was in tears. It was like a movie watching TayBay keep his eyes down until he was told he could look up and see his bride make her way towards him. You just have to scroll through to see it!!!

Aylssa + TayBay, thank you so much for asking me to be there on your big day!!! It was an absolute honor. I am so excited for you two and can’t wait to see what’s next! Love you!!!
