I really don’t know if I could have designed a more seamless wedding day if I tried…and Lauren planned it all herself!!! Their coordinator Hillary from Sincerely Weddings and I were sharing our admiration for the level of detail Lauren took to organize all of her decor (with individual boxes and checklists!) – I mean, that’s a dream! Not that it didn’t take a lot of nights and dedication to pull this vision all together.
Staying on theme with the organization of it all, Lauren and Nick’s bridal party was incredibly prompt and easy to work with, all being on time and ready to go when their moments arrived. That makes the day so much more enjoyable for everyone involved AND lets us more through photos quickly so we can get to the fun!
While the logistics and design were flawless, my most memorable portions of the day came down to the words said during vows and toasts. I loved how Lauren and Nick’s vows mirrored each other and the use of a beautiful excerpt from the Velveteen Rabbit that almost had me in tears. Then both of Lauren’s maids of honor and Nick’s best man gave heartfelt speeches, sharing ways they’ve impacted their lives and how Lauren and Nick were made for each other.
With the fall colors on the streets and the twinkling lights inside Market Hall, it was a perfect evening with dancing, mingling, and celebrating…including a choreographed dance with Lauren and her dad and ending with a bubble exit (starting to be a favorite!) and a last dance to their first dance song!
